Ezekiel Choffel is a visiting English and communication studies faculty. They completed their doctoral studies at Syracuse University. Choffel’s research focused on the Land, Land-based rhetorics, and approaches to Decolonial Theory from a settler colonial perspective.

Their teaching interests are: professional writing, grant writing, and creative non-fiction.

In the classroom, Choffel employs workshop teaching models whenever applicable, hands-on in-class reading and writing, and collaborative peer learning.
